Medicare is available for people age 65 or older and for those with a qualifying disability, despite their age.
If you have Medicare, you may be able to get VYEPTI through a Medicare Part B plan. Medicare Part B helps cover medically necessary doctor visits, diagnostic testing, and other preventive care. It also covers physician-administered drugs that could be given in a doctor’s office, in a hospital outpatient setting, or an infusion center.
With Medicare Part B, you may be responsible for a 20% coinsurance for VYEPTI after you fulfill your deductible. These plans help cover some of your out-of-pocket expenses not paid by Medicare.
